The Digital Health Enterprise Zone works closely with the Leeds City Region Enterprise Partnership and would like you to know how you can access free advice on the full range of support on offer to growing businesses via a range of organisations at a local, regional and national level. You can do so by contacting the local Bradford-based LEP SME Growth Manager, Nassara Bostan.
Since commencing her role last year, Nassara has already visited and provided assistance to over 60 growing businesses in Bradford. This has resulted in the provision of business support in a number of areas such as access to finance (including grant funding), exporting, subsidised staff training, apprenticeships, product development, knowledge transfer partnerships and so much more.
The Business Growth Programme Capital Grant scheme is currently available until March 2018 and offers grant funding from £10k to £500k to help businesses invest in the purchase of new equipment, premises or infrastructure.
The Skills Service Training Grant is also open for applications (including new and/or repeat applications) until March 2017. Eligible businesses are able to benefit from grants between £500 and £50,000 and are supported with up to 50% of the training costs. Popular courses covered by the scheme include training in sales and marketing, leadership and management, HTML training, ISO9001 preparation training, search engine optimisation and many more.
